you can just use Microsoft Excel to plan everything out. Make a list of all of your expenses, and how much you will need for them.
In order to save money, don’t eat out much, and don’t go see movies in theaters. Always set aside some of your paycheck and put it into a seperate account that is to be used for emergencies only. Good luck!

Writing a budget is easy … sticking to it is the problem.
The first thing you should do is list all sources of income so you know how much you have to spend. List your bills … all of them.
Rent
Heat
Electric
Phone
Cable
Cell Phone
Internet
Car
Gas
Insurance
Food
Household Expenses
Medical
Health & Beauty Needs
Credit Cards
Entertainment
Gifts
Clothing
Pet Supplies
Newspapers/Magazines
Go ahead… I got you started. Don’t forget weekly needs, monthly, quarterly and even yearly things like license plates and occasional needs like printer ink. You should also include an amount for savings (emergency fund) so you can avoid using credit cards. Look over your budget to find ways to cut the costs you have. Do you need the cell phone plan you’re on? Do you need all of the phone or cable services you subscribe to? Can you borrow things instead of buying them only to have them sit in your closet? Can you trade newspapers or magazines with neighbors, coworkers, family, friends??? Only YOU know your lifestyle but it’s important to live beneath your needs which will give you more money in the future to do what you want to do rather than spend everything paycheck to paycheck.
Use coupons. Shop around by value instead of price. Compromise with yourself on your wants and needs. Refrain from fast food and going out often. Take home packed lunches to work. Make gifts instead of buying them. Sell things you don’t use. Consider a part time job. Rent movies instead of going to shows. Carpool. Raise your insurance deductibles. Use the library. Remember that just saving a dollar here and there can add up. Invest money for long term. Consider a 401K plan if your employer offers it. Network with other frugal people you know.

both of u get paychecks? Pay urself first. Say 50 each. Put that in bank! No credit cards!!! Add one month utilities, have cable? add that. Say 400 total, put away 100 a week. Rental say 1000 a mo. Put away 250 a week. Paying for ur wedding? Just get marry by the Justice of the Peace, have a dinner afterwards. Celebrate ur 25th anniversary with a cruise. Savings? If you do have money in the bank or check on line for interest earnings, can do a CD for 1 yr. Say 10,000 if the interest is good and you can live without the 10,000 go ahead. Keep all receipts so you know where your money went by the end of the week. If over the limit cut it down. Limit to a 100 a week. Need to see a movie?? Rent from the library. Read the paper, magazine etc?? Same place the library. Use thrift stores for clothes, shoes, etc. Don’t buy what you dont need and can live without it.
Good luck!
