From Brussels Cental Station you can take directs trains to Antwerp Central Station, requiring between 38 and 43 minutes and departing about three times an within an hour.
From there it is just 900 yards.

Take the train from Brussels Central station to Antwerp Central Station. (‘Antwerpen Centraal Station” in the local dutch language). When you get off look for the exit towards the Keyserlei. This is mainly a restaurant and bistro avenue, but there are also some shops (high end). Towards the end of this avenue you will cross the “leien” and on the other side you will find the “Meir” where you wil find tens of hundreds of stores. Also, try the “Handschoenmarkt” which is towards the end of the “Meir” tot the left. This is one of the oldest streets in town where merchants were established from the late middle ages and commerce is still thriving.
Have fun and enjoy!

You can take the premetro at Diamant station(just at the antwerpen station) direction Zwijndrecht number 3 or direction Linkeroever in number 2,5 or 15 and stop at Meir station there is only 1 station between Opera and while you are there you can go at the next station it’s the Groenplaats a very nice place don’t miss it.
you can also walk there it’s not far
1. Head south on Koningin Astridplein toward De Keyserlei
2. Turn right at De Keyserlei
3. Continue on Teniersplaats
4. Continue on Leysstraat
5. Leysstraat turns slightly left and becomes Meir
hope this helps

Get a taxi as it is quite far to walk.
Central brussels is good for shopping for new clothes.
If you buy a guide book it will give you details of one of the back streets that is full of old second hand shops filled with great odd antiques. like mini cars and stuffed animal heads.
Have fun shopping.
