It’s been a long time since I set it up, but I believe as soon as you try to go to the iTunes store through iTunes or when you first try to buy something you’ll basically have to set up an account (all regular questions asked) and set up some form of credit or debit card payment. After that whenever you click you want to buy certain songs or albums they’ll immediately download and your card will be charged within a day or so.
