How Were You Affected By The Pet Food Recall?
Dο уου hаνе a pet? Dο уου nοt? I thіnk everyone wаѕ ѕοmе way affected bу thіѕ. Mу dog’s food wаѕ nοt recalled. I work іn retail аnԁ thе small amount οf pet food wе carry wаѕ nοt recalled. Thіѕ morning I hаԁ tο search fοr Gravy Train beef sticks аnԁ check аƖƖ οf thе alpo. (Lucky mе іt’s οn specail thіѕ month ѕο wе hаνе LOTS) Sο hοw hаѕ іt affected уου?

I am sorry but I have no pets but if I did no matter what, I would sent back the food just to make sure it’s not contaminated. I would care so much for a pet. Hold on to your dog as long as you can!
I feed my dogs nutro natural choice, but luckily its wheat gluten free. My neighbors had a dog get very ill after eating a can of some of the wet dog food. Luckily they caught it before they fed her more.
I would be NUTS if any of my pets had eaten that food.
Thank goodness they only get Purina dry food, and 9-Lives wet food.
I work at Petco, and everyday at least 3 people come up to me and ask if the food we sell is safe. I know that is not a lot of people but…I’m a groomer. I don’t work the sales floor or the register. I’m happy to help but…am tired of the question. Now shampoo, nail clippers and appointments are my expertise.
I was feeding my two dogs Nutro. The 6yr. old for about 5+yrs. They pup was getting Nutro’s small bites. Well, no more! I switched them to Dick Van Patten’s Duck & Potato because they both have sensitive stomachs. However, I’m switching to either Wellness Super 5 Chicken with a rating of 110+A or Dick Van Paten’s Natural Balance Ultra Premium with a rating of 122+. I got this list of different foods from Dr. Michael Fox, DVM’s website. The less expensive but high in ratings is Kirkland’s Signature Chicken & Rice,and vegetables rated 100+A. Additionally, I cook gr. turkey, dice fresh carrots & fresh greenbeans and mix with cooked brown rice. They eat this once/day then have the kibble at the other meal, once a day. I’m also going to add vitamins.

I wasn’t effected much myself: The food I give my cats wasn’t on the recall list.
But I did share the news I found with a number of my friends and family- and two of them did find tainted pet food in their pantries. One of them had a puppy who already had health problems, so she was watching him closely.
