When people are hurt, they can talk and say where they hurt and what they have ate but animals can't. The true number of animals that have lots their lives are far more than we will ever know. In my eyes, one is way to many. I have found out that my dog of many years, is going to die from this tragedy. He has been my long time companion and a TRUE friend. I feel for those that have already lost their animals, be it cat or dog. If he gets any worse, my vet said he would have to be put down. Which that just rips my heart out! PLease don't blame yourself for this terrible ordeal. The only thing that you can do is to show Laci you love her. Which, by your own words, I think she already knows. A relative of mine lost their dog before the recall was made and they had no idea what happened to it so suddenly until after they realized it was the food.
